Tamana is not just an idea. It is a philosophy

It is a real place.

Nestled in the rainforest of East Central Trinidad & Tobago, Tamana is a landscape where life moves differently - where towering trees, cocoa and coffee estates, and the rhythm of nature create a sense of clarity that is hard to find elsewhere.

For me, Tamana is personal.

It is where I first felt something I could not explain at the time - but never forgot.

That feeling became the foundation of everything we are building today.

🌱 A Moment That Changed Everything

In April 2024, Tamana became more than a memory.

It became a direction.

On a quiet Monday afternoon, I saw my sister for the last time.

She was on the land in Tamana, planting fruit trees - soursop, guava, banana, surrounded by the same natural stillness we grew up connected to.

She spoke about the peace she felt there.
About wanting to build a small wooden home on that land.
A place to live simply. Quietly. Close to nature.

There was a calmness in her voice.

The next day, she passed away in her sleep.

She was 49.

That moment changed everything.

What we are building today is not just a vision.

It is a continuation.

A way of honoring that feeling she experienced —
peace, stillness, connection — and making it available to others.

Opening April 2028.

This is not a resort built for escape.

It is a space for reconnection.

It will offer:

  • Yoga and meditation spaces
  • Caribbean herbal tea education
  • Farm-to-table nourishment
  • Quiet environments for reflection

A place where:
